We accept well-written short stories and flash fiction. If you have a compelling story, please submit it to us.
If you write something controversial, alternative or experimental, please let us take a look.
For short stories, the maximum word count is 8000.
For flash fiction, please keep your work under 1500 words.
Memoir and Personal Essay: Please keep your work between 600-3000 words.
Submissions must be unpublished, original work. We don’t take unsolicited reprint submissions.
We respond to submissions in 90 days.
We postponed our contests’ deadlines due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our editors are extremely busy at this moment. If you have any questions about your submission, please message us via submittable. We will refund your contest entry fee due to the delay if we received your submission before April.
Our poetry editor is battling her depression. We are trying to catch up with the number of submissions we received. Please be patient. We wish you the best of luck.
